Fall/Winter 2010-11 Trend Alert: LACE

Lace first made its debut in the late 15th century. It was made out of linen, silk, gold, or silver threads creating a pattern with holes. Now the most common used material for lace is cotton.

For the upcoming season lace was used in a lot of designer collections. Our trend forecasting system predicts lace is going to be the next BIG thing.


We first saw it in Rami Al Ali's Spring Collection.




After a little online researching we spotted it almost EVERYWHERE. It was present in almost ALL the pre-fall collections.
